Two roads connect…
As our four children grew old enough to work in our family garden, they became skilled at growing and selling all types of vegetables and fruit. Our kind and generous neighbors here in Walkerton constantly fueled the passion of our little barefoot vegetable growers by becoming repeat customers! My wife and I were very proud of their work ethic, gardening skills, and teamwork. It was extremely rewarding to watch our kids get their hands dirty and learn about growing and caring for a variety of plants! As a result, we learned a lot also!
Additionally, our family absolutely loves the Christmas holiday season! Even though our children are all grown and married, we still gather each year to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas – The birth of our Savior! Knowing and believing this truth has helped our family stay focused on the best parts of the holiday celebration. For us, Christmas music, visiting family & friends, selecting the perfect tree, gift-giving, putting up holiday decorations, and enjoying good holiday food are all Christmas staples.
I guess it’s only natural then, that the idea of creating Woodbury Pines Christmas Tree Farm seemed possible. A small business built around the concept of combining two positive aspects of our family’s history. We are excited to share this with you and hope we can become a small part of your family tradition!
The weather in 2024 has provided for good growth for our Christmas trees! We are hoping they will reach marketable size in the next year or so. Until our trees are ready, we will be importing some Fraser Fir trees from western North Carolina for sale at our farm 462 Woodbury Rd., Walkerton, VA.
We will also have a large selection of fresh holiday greenery, including freshly made wreaths, holiday table centerpieces, swags, pine rope, potted Holiday Cactus plants and other greenery. Please take a look at our “Plants & Things” page to see some of the beautiful items we created last year.
Thank you for visiting the Woodbury Pines Christmas Tree Farm website. We hope you will stop by and visit our storefront opening in November.
Warm Regards!
Hank & Paula Garner
